provide guidance.
According
to organizers, this year's show attracted 423 exhibitors
from 26 countries, including Taiwan, mainland China, the United
States, South Korea, Vietnam, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Turkey, and attracted
over 5,500 professional buyers. In addition to the United States, the
show also attracted buyers from Canada, Mexico, and Central and South America.
Numerous purchasing representatives from renowned international brands,
including Nordstrom , Macy's , Target , lululemon , Ralph
Lauren , Tommy Hilfiger , Central Park
West , Calvin Klein , Dillard's , Aerie ,
and ARIAT , were present, demonstrating the show's international
reach and substantial business potential.
This
year's show focused on global supply chain restructuring and sustainable
development trends, featuring a fully upgraded exhibition area to attract
international buyers. The " Trend Showcase ," curated by
New York-based trend agency DONEGER TOBE , showcased four key design
themes. The newly established " Next-Gen Innovation Hub "
showcased innovative solutions such as high-performance and environmentally
friendly new materials and alternative fibers. The inaugural
" Deadstock Zone" promoted circular design and upcycling,
responding to the North American market's demand for sustainable fashion. The
" Exhibitor Pitch " and " Textile
Talks " sessions explored technology applications, sourcing
strategies, and the shifting supply chains seen in the wake of the US-China
trade war. To enhance international exchange, organizers strengthened online
marketing and intelligent matchmaking platforms to help exhibitors improve
negotiation efficiency and maximize exposure. Several Taiwanese manufacturers
reported that invited buyers arrived as scheduled, negotiations were lively,
and the exhibitions were highly successful, demonstrating the competitiveness
of Taiwan's textile and apparel industries in quality, technology, and
sustainable integration.
As
the largest and most influential apparel and textile trade show in North
America, this exhibition serves as a vital platform connecting global brands,
designers, garment manufacturers, and fabric suppliers. The exhibition not only
captures the pulse of global markets but also effectively connects Taiwanese businesses
with buyers in North, Central, and South America, serving as a crucial bridge
for expanding export sales. The China Textile Industry Association (CTA) will
continue to organize delegations to
participate in the 2026 America (New York) Apparel
Fabrics & Accessories Exhibition (Winter)
from January 20-22 , 2026. Companies interested in
developing their presence in the American market are encouraged to register.
