"Energy
Saving is the Best Energy" - TECO's One-Stop Energy Services Applicable to
Diverse Fields
The
International Energy Agency (IEA) has pointed out that energy efficiency is the
"first fuel." High-efficiency energy saving not only reduces energy
consumption and greenhouse gas emissions but also lowers energy costs. TECO
employs the ESCO model to offer one-stop energy-saving services for various
smart city applications, such as high-emission enterprises, hospitals, schools,
hotels, and large shopping malls. Through a comprehensive five-step service
that includes AI greenhouse gas inventory, smart energy-saving solutions for utility
systems, deep energy-saving for intelligent air-conditioning, virtual power
plant, and smart energy management, TECO can tailor the most cost-effective energy-saving
plans for enterprises. Chairman Morris Li emphasizes that TECO can customize
energy-saving solutions according to the needs of businesses to ensure optimal
energy-saving benefits, allowing clients to truly appreciate the value of
TECO's one-stop services.
AI
High-tech Carbon Inventory Provides Precise Carbon Reduction Data
TECO
Group's affiliate, Tecom, has launched an AI high-tech greenhouse gas inventory
solution (AI-CNm) to help enterprises conduct carbon inventory more efficiently
and accurately. This technology uses AI recognition to generate accurate
inventory lists, ensuring data reliability and increasing the credibility of
verifiers. The system also provides an intelligent dashboard to monitor carbon
emission hotspots, carbon information, and electricity usage, aiding
enterprises in implementing emission reductions. To date, TECOM has assisted
105 units under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and 25,000 small and medium
enterprises in adopting carbon inventory management platform.
Intelligent
Energy-Saving for Power Equipment and Utilities Can Achieve Energy Savings of
up to 60%
For
diverse fields such as factories, commercial offices, hospitals and shopping
malls, TECO employs smart control and sensor data analysis to precisely adjust
power equipment and utilities, achieving over 40% energy savings and carbon
reduction. The energy-saving solutions integrate smart meters, pressure gauges,
flow meters, and temperature and humidity meters to collect equipment operation
data. This data is then monitored in real-time through a visual interface,
thoroughly providing enterprises with energy-saving performance verification.
For
example, in commercial office buildings, integrating smart monitoring can save
30% of electricity usage; in large sites like smart campuses and hospitals,
combined with smart and efficient transmission solutions, it can achieve energy
savings of 30-60%. TECO's achievements include:
- Leading PCB Manufacturer: Upgraded energy efficiency of mixers, centrifugal pumps, fans, and dust collection equipment using intelligent variable frequency drive with IE5 high-efficiency motors, achieving an average energy savings of 13%.
- Large Server Enclosure Manufacturer: Energy-saving retrofit of punching machines, with a 50% reduction in electricity consumption.
- Headquarter of Electronic Component Supplier: Intelligent environmental monitoring enables a 13% saving in air conditioning and a 5% saving in lighting.
- Global Operations Headquarter of Bicycles: Through digital management of electricity and air conditioning, total electricity consumption is reduced by 30%.
- Large Medical Group: By adopting permanent magnet direct-drive high-efficiency cooling towers, energy savings of 63% have been achieved (saving 720,000 kWh annually).
Deep
Energy Savings for Smart Air Conditioners: AI Technology Enhances Operational
Efficiency
Through
energy-saving diagnostics, the TECO team can integrate multiple chillers for
system group control, providing customized and cost-effective solutions that
achieve the dual effect of saving electricity and reducing carbon emissions.
Notably, TECO's in-depth energy-saving chillers further incorporate AI
technology, with expected energy-saving rates increasing by an additional
10%-12% and enhancing operational stability. Furthermore, the TECO AI system is
capable of interfacing with upper-level systems such as energy management
systems or energy dispatch platforms. By integrating AI technology into chiller
EMS, it not only significantly improves energy efficiency and reduces
operational costs but also enhances system stability and the level of
intelligent management. It can be used in various fields such as factories,
data centers, convenience stores, or hospitals, representing a key step for
enterprises toward sustainable development.
Virtual
Power Plant Creating a Demonstration Site for Energy Transition
TECO’s
Hukou Plant has established the group's first virtual power plant demonstration
center, integrating solar power generation, energy storage systems, hydrogen
fuel cells, hybrid air conditioning, and a war room center EMS (energy
management system), while incorporating green power trading functions to
achieve integrated applications in energy creation, storage, and trading.
Through demand response, peak and off-peak load management, and off-grid power
supply technology, it ensures the optimal transfer of green power, reduces
power costs, and enhances grid stability, showcasing TECO's strength and vision
in energy transition.
Smart
Energy Management Creates Efficient and Intelligent Operations
The
"AIoT One-Stop Platform" offers comprehensive energy management and
intelligent equipment monitoring solutions, helping enterprises easily achieve
efficient energy savings and smart operations. Through one-stop management, it can
integrate diverse energy solutions, covering applications such as power
management, energy storage scheduling, water resource monitoring, and charging
station equipment optimization. Data visualization technology allows managers
to grasp energy and equipment status at any time via intuitive dashboards,
enhancing decision-making efficiency.
TECO demonstrated leading smart energy-saving solutions through ESCO energy services at the 2025 Smart City Summit & Expo, supporting enterprises in green transformation, accelerating the implementation of energy-saving policies, and contributing to the development of a better future for smart cities.
