AI-driven,
Future Taipei – Co-creating a Brand-new Blueprint for a Future Smart Taipei
Mayor Chiang
remarked that the theme for this year’s Taipei Pavilion is “AI-driven, Future
Taipei.” From tech-based disaster prevention to smart traffic to AI healthcare
to 1999 AI smart customer services, the city government is able to highlight
its efforts in boosting urban safety, traffic and commute, healthcare, and
public services through technologies that apply to various day-to-day life
integrated with AI technologies and innovations. At the same time, it also unveils
a brand-new blueprint on the City’s strategy for building a smart city.
Taipei City
Government and Hon Hai Precision Industry Collaborates to Co-create a City of
the Future for Taipei’s Residents
Kathy Yang
pointed out that Hon Hai plans to initiate a long-term, strategic partnership
with Taipei City Government. The company has currently introduced its flagship CityGPT-powered smart city platform,
which integrate software-hardware solutions such as robots, electric vehicles,
and GenAI technologies. They offer
ways to raise city management efficiency and disaster response speed. The group
looks forward to working with city government to help citizens implement the
vision of a future capital while strengthening the global competitiveness of
Taipei City.
Connecting
Taipei City Government Pavilion and Hon Hai Technology Pavilion to Showcase 17
Smart City Project Achievements
Taipei City
Government Department of Information Technology Commissioner Jack Chao remarked
that Taipei City Government Pavilion will spotlight 17 smart city public
service applications. Through the integration of AI technology, we are able to
comprehensively improve and strengthen Taipei’s emergency response capabilities
as a City of Resilience. It also provides convenient, precise, and highly
efficient solutions for aspects of day-to-day life spanning fire and disaster
rescue, health and medical care, and education. In addition, this is the first
time for city hall to partner with tech giant “Hon Hai Precision Industry” in
coordinating a joint exhibition. Devices displayed at the pavilion include CityGPT, AI-agent-powered City Services, electric vehicle, and other integrated
solutions. Visitors will have a chance to take part in challenges and fun
games, through which winners can bring souvenirs home. We welcome everyone to
come and visit the pavilions during the expo.
