Taipei --- The Sheep Farmers Association of the Republic of China held a press conference today ( 4th ) to promote the 2024 "Four Seasons Delicious Domestic Lamb" domestic lamb promotion, promoting delicious domestic lamb dishes from the grassland to the table in all seasons, and invited the well-known chef Wu Wenzhi, who has won numerous awards, to recommend creative lamb dishes, and to share the secrets of delicious lamb with artist Li Yi. At the same time, it was announced that a physical exhibition and sale will be held at the Toba Agency Park in Changhua from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on December 7th . "In the past, the
idea of dietary supplement was to eat mutton hotpot in winter, but in fact,
domestic sheep are a warm tonic and suitable for consumption all year
round." Zhong Chengxin, chairman of the Sheep Farming Association,
said that the quality of domestic sheep is of international standards. Not only
is the breeding and improvement technology unique in the world, the mutton
produced has high nutritional value and excellent taste. Almost all consumers
will praise it and be amazed when they taste it.
Furthermore, since
mutton is suitable for consumption in all seasons and domestically produced
sheep have many advantages such as freshness, locality, high quality and
safety, the Sheep Farmers Association is more confident in recommending it to
foodies across Taiwan. More importantly, mutton can be fried, boiled,
stir-fried, deep-fried, grilled, and in the well-known mutton hotpot and soup.

Chairman Chung
emphasized that 90% of Taiwan's mutton market is dominated by
imported sheep. However, with the rise of sustainable awareness, imported sheep
shipped across the ocean not only have a longer carbon footprint, but also
increase carbon emissions during transportation. They are also prone to have a distinct smell,
which will make first-time consumers feel discouraged. However, domestically
produced sheep can go directly from the grass to the table, which is in line
with the environmental protection trend. In addition, they do not have too much
smell and have a fresh and sweet taste, which is more suitable for the taste of
Taiwanese people.
In order to allow the
media and guests attending the press conference to actually experience the
charm of domestic lamb, the organizers prepared 100 servings of domestic
lamb dishes. After the vivid sharing and introduction by Chef Wu Wenzhi and Li
Yi, the lamb dishes were sold out in an instant. Judging from the satisfied
expressions of the guests, it is believed that domestic lamb will surely have
even better sales performance in the future.
Chef Wu Wenzhi said
that despite participating in major food competitions at home and abroad for
many years, lamb has always been one of his favorite ingredients . In
addition, the meat of domestic lamb is firm and shiny, with a delicate taste

cooking. At the same time, he also reiterated that lamb is warm and nourishing
