TAIPEI,
Taiwan – DEinternational, the service unit of the German Trade Office Taipei,
has brought world leading German companies to the 2020 Taipei International
Automation Exhibition from August 19 to 22, 2020. Tomorrow, (August 20th),
the German Trade Office Taipei and the Taiwanese Smart Machinery Promotion
Office will also jointly host the German Industry 4.0 Seminar.
“We
are delighted that Taipei Automation 2020 is the first B2B industrial trade
fair which is going to take place despite the current COVID-19 pandemic and
that eleven German companies have decided to join our German Pavilion,” stated
Axel Limberg, Chief Representative and Executive Director of the German
Trade Office Taipei.
He
emphasized, “Industry 4.0 will be the key to a modern industry and future
prosperity. Automatization will be indispensable for an even more
individualized production at lower cost. Taiwan and Germany—with their mutual
focus on electronics and machinery—are natural partners for jointly developing
future automation solutions and meeting the market demands. To foster this
exchange, we have also been organizing the ‘German Industry 4.0 Seminar,’ which
will complement our German Pavilion and bring leading German and Taiwanese
manufacturers together.”
A
guided VIP tour including Vice President Mr. Lai, Executive Yuan
Premier Mr. Su, Ministry of Science and Technology Minister Mr. Wu, as
well as Ministry of Education Deputy Minister Lio visited our
German Pavilion today. Mr. Limberg welcomed them and introduced the concept of
the German Pavilion to them.
The
German Pavilion has been set up at TaiNEX1, Hall 1, 1st floor, Zone J to K and
covers an area of over 320 m². The following eleven companies related to

a traditional event at the German Pavilions, a Happy Hour will be held tomorrow
(August 20th), right after the German Industry 4.0 Seminar, starting
at 16:10. The German Trade Office Taipei welcomes all visitors and exhibitors
to enjoy German style beer from Buckskin and delicious refreshments from The
Sherwood Taipei.

The
German Industry 4.0 Seminar is going to take place tomorrow (August 20th)
