台北訊---近日丹娜絲颱風重創台灣中南部，帶來劇烈豪雨，造成多處地區淹水、停電與房屋毀損，對許多家庭及孩童的生活與教育造成嚴重衝擊。為協助災後重建，信誼基金會今（6）日宣布捐贈新台幣500萬元，與信誼基金會創辦人何壽川先生個人捐出500萬元，合計捐贈1,000萬元，全數交由財團法人賑災基金會統籌運用，以支援受災地區孩童急難救助、教育支持與家園重建工作。
Taipei, Typhoon Danas recently hit central and southern Taiwan hard, bringing heavy rains and flooding, power outages, and house damage in many areas, causing serious impacts on the lives and education of many families and children. To assist in post-disaster reconstruction, Hsin Yi Foundation announced today ( 6 ) a donation of NT$ 5 million. Together with the NT$ 5 million personally donated by the founder of Hsin Yi Foundation, Mr. Ho Show-Chuan, the total donation is NT$ 10 million . The entire amount will be allocated to the Disaster Relief Foundation to support emergency relief, education support, and home reconstruction for children in the disaster-stricken areas.信誼基金會長期關注兒童早期教育與社會公益，本於人溺己溺的精神，希望可以透過民間的力量，將資源送到需要救助的地區及家庭。信誼基金會董事長張杏如女士表示，面對此次風災造成的中南部嚴重災情，希望能以基金會的實際行動發揮社會正向影響，在社會關注災區受損與救助的同時，同步呼籲大眾關懷災區兒童的教育與成長，協助災區孩童及相關教育機構早日回歸正常軌道。
