Chunghwa Post has resumed international e-packet services to the United States and Spain, accepting and sending various airmail items for specific items to the United States.

依據美國政府公告及萬國郵盟第137號通函內容,「100美元(含)以下之非商業性禮品」與「書籍」屬於關稅豁免,中華郵政公司自10月1日起恢復收寄該特定品項之各類航空郵件;惟美國海關認定內裝物品不符合「100美元(含)以下之非商業性禮品」或「書籍」之規範時,郵件有可能遭查扣、沒入、銷毀或退回,寄件人須自行承擔相關責任及退回費用,不得向中華郵政公司請求退還郵資或補償損失。
According to U.S. government announcements and Universal Postal Union Circular No. 137 , "non-commercial gifts valued at US$ 100 or less" and "books" are exempt from customs duties. Chunghwa Post will resume accepting and sending all types of airmail for these specific items starting October 1st . However, if U.S. Customs determines that the contents do not meet the requirements for "non-commercial gifts valued at US$ 100 or less" or "books," the mailpiece may be seized, confiscated, destroyed, or returned. The sender is solely responsible for any related return costs and may not request a refund of postage or compensation for losses from Chunghwa Post.
