“A Bond Like No
Other ” delves into the ways in which humans and horses work
together, highlighting the horses’ individuality and showing how they are
important members of the team.
The relationships we make in this world
define who I am. And there is a kind of relationship that has flourished for
thousands of years. More than a partnership, more than a true friendship. It is
a unique bond, unbreakable because of mutual protection. A Bond Like No
Other . " This video kicks off the entire Paris Olympic
equestrian campaign, which aims to attract fans of the Olympic and Paralympic
Games, as well as people who love animals in general, by presenting the
exciting international events of equestrian, eventing, show jumping and
dressage for people with disabilities.
The event focuses not only on the union of
man and horse on the sporting field, but also on the wider equestrian
lifestyle, considering the development of this partnership over thousands of
years, with horses playing an important and noble role in human progress from
prehistory to the modern era.
The attraction transcends age and gender,
and anyone can develop this unique bond with a horse. Men and women can not
only compete against each other, but also compete together as teammates.
The 2024 Paris Olympics will be the first Olympics with
a 50:50 ratio of male and female athletes . At the last Olympics,
women won 7 of the 12 equestrian gold medals .
Equestrians can stay at their peak for
decades. At Tokyo 2020,
Andrew Hoy won two medals in his 60s . The
Australian made his Olympic debut
in 1984 – 12 years before British dressage medallist
Charlotte Fry was born .
