More Than Just Christmas! The Third “German Christmas Market Taipei” Make You Enjoy It To The Fullest.

TAIPEI, Taiwan –For the third year in a row, the German Trade Office Taipei is bringing the German Christmas Market to Taiwan. From December 2 to 4, the venue at the Yuanshan Flora Expo will offer a variety of German products from 54 different brands at a total of 72 booths. In addition to authentic German food, drinks, and souvenirs, German Mulled Wine, an essential part of the traditional German Christmas market, is also offered. The market also features unique and creative booth designs, such as the booth of Eva Air and Munich Airport, which is designed as the famous German tourist attraction Schloss Neuschwanstein. In addition, visitors can experience tree-cutting games from STIHL as well as air football and soccer shooting activities at the Kärcher booths. Furthermore, the market also offers a sticker collection game with various exciting gifts and a grand lottery with two round-trip tickets from Taipei to Munich as the exclusive main price. Moreover, Mercedes-Benz Taiwan Ltd. and Capital Motors, Inc. also exhibits two of its latest electric vehicles onsite, the EQA and the EQS.

Mr. Axel Limberg, Chief Representative and Executive Director of the German Trade Office Taipei said that “all the facts reveal that the 600-year-old German Christmas Market has become increasingly popular in Taiwan. The cultural exchanges show the friendship between Taiwan and Germany during Christmas. Also, the enthusiastic participation of all walks of life allows the traditional market to integrate the modern atmosphere and present the cross-border diversity of creativity".

Mr. Limberg stressed at the press conference. As the chief representative of the host organization, the German Trade Office, Mr. Limberg said, "Thanks to our strong partners, our sponsors and exhibitors, who have supported us for three consecutive years. We share the festive culture from Germany in a practical way and let the people of Taiwan get to know Germany better. We are looking forward to a more assertive international friendship between Taiwan and Germany in the future and to bringing positive energy to the various projects in the coming year.”

The German Christmas Market press conference was attended by Mr. Ye, District Chief of Yuanshan District, and the event sponsors - Mr. Oliver Britz, President & CEO. Mercedes Benz Taiwan Co., Ms. Julia Huang, the Junior Vice President of EVA Airways, and Mr. Michael Haeffner, Director of Route & Passenger Development, Munich Airport.

As the exclusive car manufacturer sponsor, Mr. Oliver Britz, President & CEO. Mercedes Benz Taiwan Co. felt that the event was significant. He said, "The pandemic is finally cooled down. This is the time for celebration. Mr. Schenck, the owner of Little Europe, who has participated in the event for three consecutive years, said, "Last year, we were overwhelmed by the positive feedback we received from the visitors. This year we will once again offer our authentic German sausage in a bread roll topped with original German mustard, refreshing draft beer, and homemade mulled wine."
