Vietjet's flight operation plan from April 16, 2020

(Ho Chi Minh City, April 15, 2020) – Starting from April 16, 2020, Vietjet operates regular daily passenger flights and cargo flights to supply essential commodities and necessities.
According to the decision of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV), from April 16, 2020, Vietjet operates one daily return flight between Hanoi and Da Nang and one daily return flight between Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang as well as increasing the frequency of Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route to two return flights per day.
Besides the regular flights, the airline operates about 10 cargo flights daily. In addition to common goods, Vietjet’s flights also transport medical supplies and equipments for free to support the country’s pandemic prevention and control. It also offers free transportation for doctors and medical staff during this period.

To improve the public health and prevent the Covid-19 outbreak, Vietjet has intensively conducted disease prevention, thorough health check procedures for all passengers and crew before each flights and followed mandatory requirements of health declaration and face masks wearing, etc. All Vietjet flights are in alignment with all global supreme standards and guidelines from the local authorities, the World Health Organization and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in order to ensure the health and safety for passengers, flight crew and the community.
